Worthy Brother Knights,
We are in need of help for the 5:00 PM & 6:30 PM Mass on Saturday and the 11:30 AM and 5:30 PM on Sunday, the Saturday evening Masses in particular.
Please send me an email if you can assist Paul, whom is handling this very important council drive.
This is OUR BIGGEST money maker of the year.
Ideally we would like to have 2 Knights for all Masses, so far only the Sunday 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM are covered.

Worthy Brother Knights,
Friendly reminder tomorrow night (Thursday 9/22/16) starting at 7PM the Church community along with the Knights are hosting a virtual tour or Lourdes.
This is a Plenary Indulgence Granted By Papal Degree and the only one like it.
Flint has been working on getting Marlene Watkins to experience this event with our Church for a few years now.
Please join us for a Virtual trip to Lourdes and hold Grotto Rocks, Candle Light Rosary and much more.

Worthy Brother Knights,
We are trying to have teams of at least two people for all hours this Saturday 9am to 4fpm and Sunday 9am to 3pm.
Chairman Daryl Bryant is especially in need of man power for all of Sunday in particular, however any help is appreciated.
We are simply handing out tootsie Rolls as customers come out of Safeway, and taking donations for persons with disabilities.
This was Dennis Baileys baby and we would like to keep this council activity vibrant.

Please note that we are having our business meeting this Thursday 9/15/16 at 7:30pm at the parish hall.
Upcoming events include:
Tootsie roll drive this Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm at the Safeway at Arundel Mills. ( We need help )
Support for the 150 Anniversary Mass for St Lawrence on Saturday 5PM Mass (FYI THERE IS NO 6:30 Mass)
Please Don't forget our Car Raffle, If you need more tickets give me a call or come to the meeting Thursday.
This is OUR BIGGEST MONEY MAKER FOR OUR COUNCIL.

Worthy Brother Knights,
I hope everyone's Labor Day went well.
I thought September 4th was a big day (my birthday) but then come to find out Mother Teresa became a Saint, pretty Big Deal.
Upcoming events are
St Lawrence feast day Friday 9/9/16
Our Instillation of officers will be held Saturday 9/10/16 after the 6:30 Mass.
Regarding the Pot Luck, if you missed the sign up sheet a few weeks back, please bring what ever dish you like as I am sure it will be enjoyed by all.
Doughnut Social Sunday 9/11/16 beginning after the first Mass, all help/fellowship is welcomed for any period of time.
Help may be needed for clean up.
Also on Sunday 9/11/16 is the 9/11 World Day of Peace, with a salute to our local Police and Fire Service Personal with cake and light refreshments followed by the Living Rosary of which we are working with Topher and the Life Teen. This event will start at 6:30 after the 5:30 Mass.
Lastly our Business meeting will be held Next Thursday 9/15/16 at 7:30 all Knights are welcomed.

Worthy Brother Knights,
As the kids have gone back to school, please be mindful of your surroundings as they are not always mindful of theirs.
Our next meeting will be held Thursday September 1st in the parish center at 7:30pm Poker will follow the meeting for those interested.
After labor day there are many Knights events and Church events in which we assist. Coming up are
- Aug 26 Prayers for the unborn
- Sept 2nd First Friday Adoration
- Sept 10th Installation of Officers
- Sept 11th Double duty with Doughnut Social and 9/11 events with Parish Youth Group
The following week is our tootsie roll drive at Safeway and from there we have raffle tickets and assisting Fr Victor with 150 Aniversary activities.
I also put an email out to try and get the Silver Rose to our Church this year we shall see.

Due to a large number of council events in September our first degree that was tenetivly scheduled for our second meeting on September 15th is canceled-
We will have a regular meeting instead and reschedule for another date.

We are taking our newest Knight John Klimacek to his First and Second Degree this Monday August 15th.
We will be car pooling at the church parking lot at meeting at 6:45 and leaving at 7:00 PM.
It is at the Holy Trinity Church in Severna Park.
The more the merrier please join us in the start of his journey with us.
Our meeting will be held this Thursday August 18th at 7:30PM we will be doing a walk through for the Insulation on September 10th for all the officers.
Along with planning for upcoming events.

I hope all are safe during the weather we are having today.
Please note that our next meeting is this Thursday August 4th at 7:30 PM in the Rec Hall.
I am pleased to announce that John Klimacek has been approved by our council at the last meeting to take the degrees of Knighthood. August 15th at Holy Trinity in Severna Park is having a 1st and 2nd degree to get him in our council.
Upcoming events are the Program Seminar at Good Council in Olney August 8th, of which we will car pool from the Church.
We are looking for a Pro Life Director of which ANYONE can lead or assist, couples are encouraged as well per Father Victor, please contact me if interested.
We are also looking to do a Soccer Shoot out with JPYO however Mike Jump and myself have seem to hit a brick wall with JPYO Contacts to get opening day information. IF ANYONE whom gets this email knows of a Point Of Contact for JPYO please contact me as well.
Also ALL KNIGHTS are welcomed to our meeting regardless of dues. We want YOU, not your money, please join us.

Please note that our business meeting is this Thursday July 21st at St Lawrence at 7:30 PM.
As September will start a busy period regarding many activities going through till December, this meeting will be important in terms of laying ground work.

The new fraternal year has started as of July 1st, and I look forward as Grand Knight of this council in assisting in anyway I can.
Along with the many events we do as a council through out the year, we will also be transitioning to our new facility at Blobs Park.
