Well, this will be my last message to the Council as the Grand Knight. That’s right, my time as Grand Knight is over as of the end of June. Mary Ann and I want to thank everyone in the Council for all their support over the past year. Anyone who has been a Grand Knight knows that without the people in the Council, they would never survive the year. We’ve been very busy throughout the year starting last July when we attended the Grand Knight’s College to May when we attended the Maryland State Convention in Ocean City. It’s been a fun and quick year with lots of activities. I want to give a special thanks to Father Victor who has been especially supportive to not only me, but the Council. Father has attended just about every meeting and activity we’ve had this year. Mary Ann and I will continue to be very active in the Council and will give all the support we can to the new Grand Knight, Mike Jump, and his wife Rosie.

Here we are after almost a 2 year absent with a new web site. I want to thank one of our newest members, our Web Master Stephen Furth, for making this happen. Shortly after joining the Council, Steve came to me and offered to take on the challenge of putting together a new Council web page. NICE JOB, Steve.
I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I became the Grand Knight. Today, while working the Mother’s Day Brunch, I realized the brunch was the last big event during my fraternal year. The brunch was a big success due to all the hard work of the members who volunteered they time (see photos). To say the least, it’s been a wild ride.
Remember, it’s you, the members, who make our Council successful. Without each of the members we could never be so successful. When we join together in unity, we become strong and successful.
